South Shadow Angus + Paints is a family ranch operation in Saskatchewan, Canada, producing black angus seedstock from their registered, purebred black angus herds and breeding Paint, APHA, horses. The angus seedstock includes registered black angus yearling bulls and commercial angus replacement heifers. The purebred black angus bulls are sold private treaty and are sired by top maternal traits and top performance traits sires Elixir, Widespread, Alberda Traveler, New Design 878, Scotchman 543, Royce 741C, Bonus, Black Magic, Big Sky Pine Drive, New Trend 315, BT outback, Sitz Alliance, Gardens EXT 4137, SAF Bando 5175, Cudlobe Rainmaker and Dividend. Angus bulls with high birth to weaning weight ratios which will sire quality replacements as well as preferred carcass size and palatability. Herd is enrolled with the CACP, with the commercial cattle, steers and heifers tagged certified canadian angus beef, canadian angus certification program, cca. The herd has performance data, epd trait leaders, and foundation bloodlines.
