Well yesterday was the Weanling Tag in. You should be proud Di, She loaded and unloaded like it was old school. She is starting to settle in nicely. I was extremely proud of her.

to Brenda in Manitoba
"She is a beautiful mare. Her mane is blonde and red. A wow factor. I have been jumping up and down by her back, she doesn't care, Ed even lifted me up and I sorta layed on her a bit. Of course I won't get on as she is still a baby.
She was the talk of the event and I almost felt bad for everyone else, It was like being in a poker game with a full house and then have somebody drop a Royal Flush on you at the last minute. I felt like I was on a date with a celebrity. Don't want to sound to proud but she pranced around that arena like she came there to show them what she was made of. She did you good.
(received fall 2005) Di is making an outstanding yearling.
..... She was a dream, self loaded , I don't even have to go in trailer.
..... Well got home for our first show. She looked sooooooooo nice. She is definetly going to be big though. She took everything in stride. Had lots of comments on her.
.... Started BJ, she has accepted saddle beautifully. No big deal to her. Just been walking around a bit. "
He had him running down the fence, then he would stop him, turn him and get him going the other way! He has got amazing cowsense. His manners have been very good and he is really inquistive, so he should be lots of fun to train. He's definitly got loads of potential! "
Cinch came back to us as a 9 yr old when Vicki found little time to ride. He spent a couple of years here, as a ranch horse but at over 16 HH, he was just to tall for Don and I. Enter Monique ... who has given this guy a great home and a useful purpose under English and Western tack.
A few words from Monique [May 2017]
I’ve had Cinch now for over a month now and have to tell you that he is such a pleasure to ride and have around the yard. When I unloaded him after the six hour drive home, he ate and drank right away, and settled in with my other horses without any issues. I’ve used clippers on him, put on his rain sheet in wet and windy weather, he stands great for the farrier, loads onto the trailer like a dream, doesn’t move when tacking up, rides out on the trail nicely; he is a perfect gentleman at all times! I’m taking lessons on him once a week and he has tons of try in him and is very forgiving of my mistakes. He has such a great mind, which is very important to me as I’m an adult amateur rider. I’m looking forward to all the things that we can do together!

I could not be happier,,, When I described my perfect horse,,, she is everything. Temperment, quite, fantastic stop, forward, forgiving, gentle.I also wanted a big buckskin mare with great conformation,,, She is all that and more. She has a great foundation under her. Thankyou,,, I definitely will be recommending your horses to anyone wanting a nice quite well mannered horse. When it comes time to get another horse,,, I will definitely be checking with you first.

She is a real nice horse and has a lot of cow sense. Brad used her all summer moving cows as well as for a few brandings. She's real quiet and easy to be around. She is a real strong horse and does not play out! Smartee was used in the community pasture this year and drug calves at a few brandings. The rider commented often about how good of a horse she was.
Razz is doing well, he was so easy to get broke this spring. He covers lots of ground and so smooth to ride could not ask for more in a horse. I attached a photo from the other day, he's around 15hh now and built pretty solid looks as though it would excel in reining or barrels.

Hi, Just thought I’d drop you a line and let you know how one of the horses from your Ranch is making out - I bought him a year or so ago. We are both still learning new things, this summer thought I would step up his training a bit. I sent him to a Community Pasture with a friend to “round out” his training. The rider said that he is a natural and took to working cows extremely well. He is a great horse and very willing and eager to learn new stuff. Cruz almost always comes when called, he even nickers or whinnies to me if I am out in the yard and he is looking for some attention. I have had many compliments (and offers) for him, but he has a home for life with me.
