"We have got 90 days on Bubba and he was the top horse in the class last Saturday. I was in a clinic with him and there is nothing he won't do. We even did a trail course and he was the best out of all the horses wich ranged from his age to 15 years. He is a huge colt with a no fear attitude. Nothing spooks this boy, he did a teeder toder bridge. and is one of three horses that would do it and the only horse to not panic at all. He is amazing. My trainer can't say enough about this colt and can hardly wait to start Boots this coming weekend.I will try to send you some pictures when he has shed out and can show how good he looks. My trainer and best friend has been training for 25 years and said that this is the most level headed colt he has worked with"
Dad tells us that they have to "ask permission" from their daughter to ride this mare. Their daughter uses her for ranch work as well as events at the local horse show.

July 2008: They are such wonderful horses. Jenn has been in lethbridge for the last year. She was the easiest horse to train out of any I have ever worked with. When I got on her for the first time last year she just stood there... no big deal at all! She is so friendly and really swift on her feet considering how big she is!
Harley ended up staying at Justin's (he wants to keep him too!). He had the winter off but I have started working with him again this summer. He bucked me off the first time I rode him haha! But a week later i rode him out alone in the pasture to look for cows! He is incredibly smooth to ride and hopefully justin will get a chance to use him with the cattle.
I dont have any pictures of them under saddle right now...
Willow, the mare above, also had a half-sister in our breeding herd. (both sired by our "Painted By Red). This half-sister was a sorrel Tobiano mare named "TIC OLE ONE RED". Jessica, from the Ralston area of Alberta, purchased "Ticoles" with foal in utero, along with her 2000 filly (now deceased). As well, Jessica purchased Kilobar Diamond's 2000 filly. Jessica's comments about these horses are included below.
Mother; Ticoles and Daughter; Radiant Blue Sky ( Bluey )
Ticoles on Left .......... Bluey (2001 filly sired by Mr Parteebuilt) on Right
"Ticoles is beautifully broke, an amazing ride and is now one of our lesson horses, Bluey (her 2001 foal) is also beautifully broke and is also being used in lessons, and Lady the beautiful sorrel with the flaxen mane, is just for me. I finally had the time to break Ticoleslast year, she is 100% cow, hold on and she’ll do the rest. And as I mentioned Bluey is wonderful. My assistant normally rides her and she says Bluey is her favorite horse on the place! We used Bluey in the Med Hat Parade last year and we’ll be taking both Bluey and Tic’s this year. "

We went on our yearly trail ride and we decided to take Flo. Well she was just the best horse there. We have never been so impressed with the mind of a 3 yr old filly. Nothing fazed her, and what a trooper, she just lined out and out walked most of the horses on the trail. We knew she was quiet and gentle and easy to ride but she definatly outdone herself many times over. I cant say enough about this filly, she will be sticking around here for the long haul. I would just like to say that if all your horses are like her you have definatly accomplished in your breeding program what most people only dream of having. Flo is a keeper and its a shame that you lost her dam. Anyways i just thought you would like a little feedback on Flo. She is standing just over 15.1 and has an arse as wide as the truck, she is really coming into herself this summer. We're happy to announce that Flo is back with us - replacing her with her brother Liver. Thanks Randy and Jamie for the swap - we are happy to have her back now that we lost their Dam.
June, 2010: I thought I would send you a picture of Bubba and I last weekend up on the great divide trail, west of Longview. We were on a 15 mile round trip. We are averaging about 15 to 20 miles a day on the weekends. He is about 16 hh and still growing. I hope he stops soon, I have never had to worry about what's above so much as I do now. Boots is back in training and is coming along great. He has been out on the trails a couple times and has started to settle down and relax. He is very heavily muscled and is hard to keep the weight on as he is going through another growing stage. He is not as tall as Bubba but that's all right with Lynda. Bubba is trained to pick me up off of stumps or rocks or fences, or what ever I can find to climb on. Bubba will be going on his first pack trip at the end of August. We will be out for about a week and will cover about 200 hundred miles west up the Ram river. I will send more pictures as the summer goes on.
