Hello Connie, Just an update on Shi... I have been attending a Pat Parelli clinic with her once a week and she is doing amazing! I was wondering how much you worked with her before she came here? She is the quietest yearling I have ever seen. She is a people-horse. She gets really angry when I leave her pen and comes running up to me as soon as she sees me (usually talking while running). She doesn't seem to care if other horses are around or not (defiantly not horse bound) and from what I can tell would rather be around people than other horses! She catches on really quickly as well. The instructor or our clinic has commented many times how nice of a yearling she is. She is very sensitive and responsive to touch, which is pretty cool. I hope to continue with the ground work with her for a few more weeks. I did set a tiny kids saddle on her back and she didn't seem to mind that.
.......Dually is working out great for Kevin and his daughter Lacey. With Kevin, he is working the cattle pastures and heading steers; takes pressure well and is stout enough at just shy of 15 H to handle what needs to be done.
......Daughter Lacey is barrel racing with him and it's not uncommon to see kids crawling on him ... everytime he looks there is a different kid on him.
Dually is not for sale !
